InStream Systems has taken a combination of lessons learned, and decades of expertise and now has designed a complete faxing solution dedicated to the healthcare industry.
Why Faxing
In Healthcare the use of faxing is still a vital part of document exchange. The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) Privacy and Security Rules require all patient information to be secure, 70% or more of patient data is faxed, a greater uptake of applications such as EMR,EHR,PHI, and HomeHealth software gathers and records patient data but still has a need to disperse that data to outside care takers.
InStream Systems provides the transactional layer to safely within HIPAA guidelines send and receive patient information while maintaining the required HIPAA security compliance.
